Slab Post 50x50x5 – 1800 High
Slab post 50 x 50 x 1800mm with a 5mm wall thickness. Steel yield strength of 345 MPa.
Storage Capacity Example
The maximum number of 20mm thick marble or granite slabs, with maximum size slabs 3200 x 2000 x 20mm, that can be safely stored per bay (using 2 post) at a maximum 4° lean is: 10 slabs
The maximum number of marble or granite slabs that can be safely stored per bay at a 4° lean depends on the type of post selected, the slab thickness and dimensions. Aardwolf has developed a simple calculator specifically for the users to calculate the slab storage capacity.

This tool will help you decide how many and what type post you require.
Warning: Do not use the Aardwolf Slab Rack Storage Calculator to calculate the storage capacity of competitor’s posts as they commonly use posts with a 3mm wall thickness and steel of a lower strength, sometimes with yield strength as low as 210 MPa.
